Barbell Club
We’re excited to announce the return of the Girl’s Summer Barbell Club! This program was created to help our girls proudly claim their space in the weight room & beyond.

Last year was a huge success with athletes averaging 15-30 lb. increases on their lifts along with significant improvements in athletic prowess, coordination, and confidence.

The girls who walked in on Day One were not the same as those who wrapped up the 8-Week Program. This summer we’ll build on that; getting stronger from the inside out!

Details:
-8-week program from June 10 - August 9
-12-1pm on Monday/Wednesday/Friday
-No classes the week of July 4th
-Female athletes ages 13-18 of all sports are welcome!
-Limited spots available to maximize experience and coaching

Program Details:
Dates: June 10 - August 9
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 10:30am - 11:30am
Program Duration: 8 weeks (16 sessions)
Cost: $320 ($20/session)
Note: No sessions during the week of July 4th

Program Focus:
-Strength Training for Performance
Vertical improvement for enhanced jumps
Rebounding strength to dominate the boards
Improved balance and coordination for agile maneuvers

Customized Drills
Change of direction drills such as shuttle runs
Quick feet exercises using agility ladders

Explosive Power Development
Squats and cleans to accelerate and boost speed on the court
Emphasis on posterior chain development (glutes and hamstrings)

Injury Prevention
Unilateral exercises to reduce joint and tendon injury risks
Focus on building knee and ankle strength to reduce the likelihood of injuries (two of the most common injuries in female athletes)

Teamwork and Camaraderie
Collaborative exercises and group activities to foster a sense of teamwork
Partner drills to enhance communication and coordination on the court
Building trust and unity to create a supportive team environment

Mental Toughness
Embrace discomfort as a part of growth
Cultivate mental resilience to overcome challenges on and off the court

Confidence Building
Empowering exercises to boost self-assurance on and off the court
